Maperera is located in the Chikwawa district in the southern region of Malawi. A very hot region plagued by poverty.
Hunger has been one of the biggest challenges.
Our help in this area was of great importance and impact on the community.
More than 800 children and adults were fed that day.
Due to hunger, many are desperate in lines looking for food. A sad reality to see.
Children who left home with a small plate in their hand. Because they were hungry and expecting us to bring food.
We offered food (rice, meat and beans), a soft drink and a snack to each one.
We left there with heavy hearts and thinking: who will bring food to them tomorrow?
